Processed with VSCOcam with g3 presetI’ve decided that I’m going to tag some of my future craft projects over at #makecraftnotwar on Instagram and Twitter. I like the idea of a peaceful protest against wars of any kind – it’s not at all about being preachy, political or choosing sides. For me, It is more about the fact – that I wish war would never happen to anyone. I feel for those affected by war (especially innocent children caught up in the mess of it all) – so I thought maybe this naive tag might help to make me feel less useless and less like I am turning a blind eye. Your welcome to join in if you like.

I actually do have a little wish list of crafty projects I’m ever so sloooooowly working on;

  • I’m itching to try making Jaqui Fink’s hand- knitted chair cushions from this month’s – Country Style magazine. I’m thinking they would look so much more stylish than chair pads! “Chair Pads”- even the name is kind of scary.
  • I would also like to continue working on my knitting skills – I am fairly shabby at knitting but there is something so very relaxing about it. It also reminds me of my mum which is lovely. Lastly
  • I would like remember how to crochet- seriously, who forgets how to do that??

Tell me, what craft projects are you currently working on? Do hope you have had a lovely Wednesday!

    I love this idea Rachael! It was only a few weeks ago that my friend said, “if more people did crochet there’d be less conflict in the world”. I’ll make sure I tag my craft posts this way. Xo

    I think your friend is very right Amanda- there is nothing like a good calm down, zone out and chill over a crochet sesh! Xx

  3. I have a zillion projects on the go at the moment… OK slight exaggeration lol. Weaving and crochet and stamping are my current faves and I love that #craftnotwar xx
